Winners Announced!
The judges have weighed in, and we're excited to share the news! Go to the Steel City Hacks: Winter Hack gallery to congratulate the winners and check out all of your awesome submissions. Winners should have received an extra email from Devpost with instructions on how to get started with prize redemption logistics. Contact us ASAP if you haven't received this email (but be sure to check your spam)!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this event! Our amazing judges who took time out of their busy lives to lovingly grade your amazing submissions, our amazing sponsors who make this event possible by providing goodies and prizes. Finally, thank you all for making such fantastic projects! Every single project was amazing and even if you did not win a prize, I looked through every project and I know you are all capable and creative individuals who will go on to do amazing things.
P.S.
Just a reminder, this hackathon was held as a part of Steel City Codes, a computer science teaching organization on a mission to increase inclusivity in STEM. At Steel City Codes, high schooler volunteer teachers teach elementary and middle school students how to become proficient programmers through online or in-person classes at local community centers/schools, and we'd love to have any of you volunteer to be a teacher and spread computer science education. If you're interested in starting a chapter or volunteering at a local one, email contact@steelcitycodes.org to get started.
For those of you hungry for more coding opportunities, we'll be hosting another Steel City Hacks event next winter! Look forward to an announcement in the coming months for more info on that.
Thanks for Hacking!
